We have our own winch plate for the YJ and TJ only. It is part number 92122.2900. The Q9000 weighs 98 pounds and the winch plate weighs in at 22 pounds.

Joe, good news on the JK plate. Planning to order your black 11000 for 12 JKU. Will wait to see what you have. Any info on pricing and estimated available date will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

This is an entry level winch for the weekend warrior, that just happens to be one of the best made on the market for it's specified use. It also has one of the best warranties backing it.

Anyone that wants to purchase something different has every right to do so! I wouldn't argue or tell you to purchase anything differently than what you wanted to spend your hard-earned money on.

Joe,

Love your winchs, but are you planning on a synthetic line winch, I have 400 extra pounds up front with the engine conversion, so looking to shave a few pounds!

I am not sure of the solenoid type. That information wasn't given to me about the winch.

It's going to still be a few months at minimum for it to be designed perfectly, tested, and made sure it's good to go for manufacturing and to be sold.

I'm sure a synthetic winch line version will be available in the future, but it is currently not on the list that I am aware of for immediate future releases.

We currently have the black series winches available for order. They are in stock and ready to ship out. Do not wait long, they are going very fast, and will most likely be gone soon.

Both. What happens after the one year on electrical and the solenoid blows. How do I get a replacement? Under warranty I suspect you would send a new solenoid out or even replace the whole winch. But in five years the warranty is gone. I would not want to be left with a dead winch.

With Superwinch/Warn I can just call them up give them the part number listed in the schematics for the broken part and a replacement is on the way.

Joe,

Three questions on your JK winch plate: weight, install difficulty (any cutting, etc) and price? Debating whether to wait. Any info you can provide, if possible. Thanks.

Yes we have parts available for purchase and for warranty purposes. They'll just to be placed as a special order, so the components would not be listed on the website (in the event of purchase).

I do not have any information on it yet, I just know it's in the works. The two guys designing it are very secretive even with us.

Got my Black Q11000 winch today. A big thanks to Joe at Quadratec. I think I was in the first batch of the black winches that were shipped out. Unfortunately, I have a busy week and weekend so I'm not sure when I'll get it installed.

I'll be curious how much the weight drops my front end. With my RR XHD bumper and the winch, I think I'll need to get the 2.5" lift I have planned sooner rather than later.
