Quadratec's Floor Liners - new version - pics

Well the rears arrived today finally. Very nice fit and finish. Haven't had the top off to air test them yet, but they are pretty snug in the back. Glad they make this for the JK. MOPAR only makes the SLUSH for the fronts...

Those look a lot better than the old style and it seems like they fit better as well.

I just bought the old ones about 2 weeks ago.

Buy some 4"x2" industrial strength velcro @ the hardware store, stick a piece on each of the rear of the floor rails, and the opposite pieces on the back of the mat, and you'll have no problems with them trying to fly with the top and doors off.

You will get the new ones. I ordered the old ones too and they don't have them anymore. They told me all orders are being filled with the new style.

I ordered a pair of floor mats a couple of months ago when I first got my '12 2door sport and they were on "out of stock backorder" until just last week when they magically arrived

So I would say that they ran out of old stock before shipping the new ones...

What differences are there between the old and new?

It seems they cover LESS than the old ones. Have any more zoomed out pics?

I just got my mats today. I really like them. 2012 Sport. They fit great, both sides and lined up with the carpet hooks perfect.

About a week (from time of order). I ordered then received an email about backorder. UPS surprised me today. They must have gotten some.

I ordered mine last month and they stopped shipping the old ones. I called at the end of feb and they said they were starting to ship the new ones on 3/2. So if you order now you'll get the new ones.

Mine were perfect, but I haven't checked now that the weather is 70+. I will check, if they warped, I'm gonna shoot them an email and possibly have them exchanged.

I hope mine look as good.

Quadratec says my front and aft pieces should ship tomorrow but the cargo mat is still on back order.

All good news. But the fit wasn't really the issue before. It was the longevity of the sides and flexibility, no? Hard to say how these hold up in 6 months, 12 months, etc. But I am also planning to buy at least the cargo liner. Will report back with any info.

This is correct, all of the older mat styles that were ordered and were on backorder will be replaced with the newer style.

There is a lot different between them now. We are using a different rubber compound, a bit thicker sides and a wider tread pattern to ease cleaning. The biggest difference is that they are now made in the USA.

The front and rear liners are in stock and the cargo liners should be shipping out shortly. We have made 4 different cargo liners for the 07-10 and 11-12 models (2 for each, w/sub and w/o sub). That's why they are taking longer than the other liners.

They'll hold up for a long time. We've actually had about 10 sets since last year in employee jeeps to see how long they'll last. We put them out in the middle of a heat wave on our black tar roof, and they didn't warp or melt.

Joe, will you replace the older style ones whose sides are bowing in for these new styles? I bought them only 2 months ago and the sides are sagging in.

Yeah, the ones in my TJ are severely bowed. Why don't you use some ridges like the Husky liners? Seems like that would hold them up even with the previous compound.

Looking at your mat photo, it appears there is no side wall in the area just below the gas pedal. If this is correct, wouldn't any slush/water run out there as you pick up and lift the mat closest to the seat to empty it?

There is also a hole where the carpet hook goes through. How messy were you planning to get?

haha, if you've got THAT much water/slush to empty from the mat, I doubt that little section will contributing to the worst of your clean up.

Why the cut out under the gas pedal? The old design has this flaw too.

Problem: dirt and mud tends to fall of my shoes while using the gas pedal. Without coverage in this area, the dirt and mud finds its way on the carpet here and migrates under the entire mat. A big fail in my opinion.

I'd have to get a closer look when mine comes in but I'd rather not have anything that could get in the way of the gas pedal.
I've had mats on this and other vehicles that weren't custom made and they would bunch up there causing problems until I cut them out.
I'll wait and see.
