Question about plowing packages

Alright, the time is approaching, my dad and I are getting a new JK soon.

It's mostly for utilitarian stuff, stump pulling, he wants a plow, etc.

Anybody here hooked up a plow kit on their JK? We were thinking of putting it on a regular X (s package) 2 door.

What kind of costs can we expect?
How hard is it going to be on the wrangler's drivetrain?

Any other things we should know about?

Like any other vehicle, the plow will wear down the drivetrain exponentially faster. Jeeps aren't that heavy and although plow-capable, there are plenty of other vehicles out there that will plow much better. (and there's nothing worse than seeing a plow jeep in the off season with a sagging front suspension...they always look so sad...)

i heard you cannot put a plow on the jk due to the design of the crushable fromt frame rails
