question for 2012 owners

If anyone with a new 2012 could check out their manual and let me know what it says about towing the new five speed auto tranny 4 wheel down it would be most appreciated. I don't need the proccedure just if it's possible.

Thank you so much.

How can you tow with the Automatic in PARK?
Does this even allow the wheels to turn?

With the tansmission in park the torque converter is not spinning, and the T case in natural allows the rear wheels to spin freely, and no miles register on the odometer ether.

We are towing a GMC Sierra 4x4 currently and the procedure is exactly the same. I just wanted to make sure the new 5speed auto was still able to be towed 4down.
Again thanks UpHillBill

Glad to help, friend. You'll be much happier having a Wrangler to run around in when traveling. It'll open up whole new adventures! One big caution though: once you've driven a Wrangler, I can't imagine why you would ever want anything else!

Is "dolly tow" a regular tow truck tow with the front wheels in the air, so a flatbed would be required?

Why is it that the Wrangler isn't allowed to be dolly towed? With the transfer case in neutral, why would it matter if two wheels were spinning and the other two weren't? Is there something I'm missing here?
