Questions about Rock Krawler 2 1/2 inch Max Travel Lift

I see in your signature that you run Fox shocks- OK, what length?? Also what bumpstops are you running?? Also 37's seem like a lot of tire for 2 1/2 inches of lift. Are you having any rubbing issues while offroading?? How about driveline issues?? Or did you also change out the drive shafts??
I would like to see pics of this setup flexed out to the Max!
Thanks in advance

The shocks are fox 2.0 ifp for 4-6" of lift, i have rick stars and poly upper mounts. I trimmed the fenders, the pinch seam, cut about 1 1/2" off the rock rails, chopped the front bumper, trimmed the rear until i can build a decent one. I havent done any decent off roading yet to really test it. Flexed it a little in the yard, best i could and no rubbing so far. Not sure if it will remain that way once off roading....we will see. The bumpstops are teraflex, forget the lengths, fronts are the extensions that go up into the originals, probably about 2"??? Rears are the block style that bolts on, also about 2" +-.....i can try to get a measurement. Stock driveshafts for now, i will keep an eye on them once i wheel it to see how they hold up. Hope this helps.....

We run the same setup except for a 35" tire for now. Soon we are going to the 37's.

Let us know if you have any questions about our setup or any Rock Krawler's products. We will be more than happy to help...

I am very Interesed in this set-up. but would like to see the 37's maxed out. I know the 2 1/2 inch lift will work great with the 35's; but if I can run the 37's with this would be even better

You can. We have a bunch of guys running this setup with 37's. We have just not made the jump yet. Is your JK a 2Dr I am guessing?

Here is one of our guys with the same setup. We did 37's on his rig though!

Cool!! Thanks, guys and gals! This is probably what I will go with when I pull the trigger. Looks great, however, I am not so concerned with looks as much as function>

Function wise it does nice. If you need a little more room, we have seen some guys add in a small body lift as well.

Let us know if you have any more questions or if there is anything else we can do for you!

What about drive shaft issues?? Are there any to worry about?? Or should I just upgrade at the same time??

That is one of those "gray" areas. Most of the time, you are okay with anything under the 3-3.5" range but still at that height, it is as needed type deal. Now, we have seen a LOT of guys run the 2.5" Max Travel on the stock shafts with no issues. Last time out however, we busted the boot on ours the last trip out. Not saying that will ever happen with you but there is always that "gray" area. Anytime you lift a JK and plan to wheel it, you need to atleast keep it in the back of your mind...
