Quick Disconnects???

Anybody out there know if making your own temporary discos with a bolt and cotter pins is a real bad idea or if taking them off and putting them back on at trail head would take long I have never touched the sway bar region and don't know!!??? Also has anybody been to Cliffs Insane in Northern IL, if so is it neccessary to have a winch or sway bar unlocked to have a goodtime wheelin?

Thanks

There are some good threads here about home made quick discos but you want something solid for when you're on the road so I'd be careful. Quick disco are nice on the trails!

Buy some quality ones. I made some of my own and it's ruined one of my sway bar connects. The bushings that the bolt goes through popped out. Be safe and just buy a real set of disconnects.
