An odd thing just started occurring to my baby. Sometimes, when I get out of it and close the door (I have soft doors) I notice the radio will either change the channel, or even change from AM to FM.
I'm having this problem, somewhat, on my 2012 with the 430n. It will reset the headunit and revert to an AM station. I lose everything, presets, EQ settings. I've had it to the dealer twice for it and, of course, they can't reproduce the issue. Happens at completely random times too.

I am having the exact same issue with the 430 in my 2011. I haven't bothered taking it in yet because I figured they wouldn't be able to fix it since it only occasionally happens. I always listen to Sirius and for some reason those presets remain each time but it does revert to AM when it happens.
Anyone have any insight to this - its happened a few times over the past few days, not all the time and randomly. Installed some LEDs in Dome light and was thinking it was the CAN-BUS - but part of me thinks that doesn't make sense. Its not a big deal but to have the radio 'seek' randomly is quite annoying.
Years ago, whenever I got into my Liberty with my phone unlocked, it would start dialing a random number. I figured it had something to do with air pressure, but I never really figured it out.
No water damage but temps have been in the negatives lately here. And that's when it started. Pretty sure I didn't bump the controls also. Isn't really a big deal but is kinda annoying.
It happened to my wife with her '14 Cherokee TH a couple weeks ago also. A quick google search shows it's happening with several Jeep models. Eh well. Need to get used to it I guess.
had so many problems with the super duper screened navigation/radio/satellite/phone/do-everything radio in the Lincoln that i decided to go "purist" with a 130 radio in the jeep *could not take it anymore*
My USB port didn't work at all on day one. Brought it in and they "fixed" it at the dealership.
It stopped working intermittently after that and then totally quit again; they replaced the radio.
It stops working over and over now, especially when I hit a bump or set the hand brake.
Mis-recognizes voice commands. Like I say "call wife" and the bluetooth says, "did you say call 9-1-1?"
Often just changes to cd or Sirius for no reason.
Sometimes turns on the A/C for no reason. I have to hit the A/C button to on and then to off to turn it back off.
I'd rather have fewer functions that I could actually rely on than lots of gizmos that sorta work...

This happens to my 130s/RES constantly. I tried to open a support case with Uconnect support yesterday. At first the person on the other side of the chat said this was normal behavior. Really?, my radio should default back to some random AM station?
I know I have the bottom of the line radio, but seriously? I am taking it in for warranty service.
Hearing this has me wondering if some trash or something, isn't lodging the USB port shorting out a circuit maybe.
Maybe a loose wire rubbing on/interfering with the hand brake mechanism .
I'm not going to say it's common, but it does happen. In the first 3 months I owned mine it happened 3 times. Then a few more times after that. It's been almost 2 months now and it's not happened again.
Also so when it does it, it resets your EQ setting to flat. So you need to readjust them too.
My '13 just started doing this 2 days ago. While driving listening to 104.1 it will suddenly change to 103.7. I finally tried a different channel and 99.1 changed to 102.7. I know for a fact I did not touch the steering wheel controls because I keep my left hand at 12 o'clock.
Mine hasn't done it since February. I have no idea.
