Rain cover

I'm in the market to purchase an "emergency" rain cover when doors and top are off. Reviews I've read on Amazon indicate some of the products on the market leak and fail when they get rained on. Does anybody have a good PROVEN product that won't leak or fail if rained on? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Just got back from measuring for you :))) 10'x12' would work. Whatever size that is one up from that would be perfect. The 10' goes front to rear, 12' side to side but is about 1' short of ideal. I assume 12'x'15' would be next.
Rain covers (that fit perfect) are definitely the way to go.
My Son inherited my Never Used RainGear cover from my 2 door Tj.
He looks all custom and here I sit with a tarp from Ace hardware :)

I will say this, I keep my tarp in my Jeep. IF it gets "borrowed" at $6 I'm irritated but that's about it. A Rain Cover at $100-$150 - I'd be REALLY irritated.

Mine was free, I just grabbed the Rain Fly from a tent. Bungee cords that came with it work well. Photo below as from an RV trip with the doors on, but I use without the doors too. I was able to drive with it on up to about 25mph before the flapping got bad, enough for a quick ice cream run at least! Now with the rear deck I built its pretty well covered from the rain.
