No. Sanity. Maybe when I get home.

They're hot, though. Not on your Jeep yet? What's up with that?

Deal: your husband puts those bad boys on, and I'll put my lights on the Rampage front first day I get home. Huh? You don't even have to sweat. He sweats. I sweat. You laugh. Can't get much better than that...

Didn't feel the need to start another thread, but if you have a winch, and aux lighting on this bumper, post up some pics! Looking for lighting ideas!

I had the winch on first then put the lights on to see how close I could squeeze them in. I want to switch out the KC's for some led's like the D2's.

Well that's what I was waiting for. You just sealed the deal. I have a Crush with painted fenders. Was not sure to go textured or gloss. Now I know. Great looking. Thanks Crypple great looking bumper.

Regardless, it's a bitchin bumper.

Interestingly enough there was no sag at all on the front end, it measured exactly the same height after install. I'll still install the teraflex leveling kit to get rid of the factory rake tho. Pictures here for anyone looking for semi gloss comparisons.

Looks great!!

Welcome! I had trouble finding examples of the semi gloss on painted fender models. Worth noting that the textured will probably match your removable top better, but I agree that the front end of your Crush will look awesome with semi-gloss. IMO it really adds to the slickness of painted fenders.

Anybody have a black jeep with painted fenders and the textured bumper? I'm thinking a little contrast might be nice for this setup but unsure.

Works for me. I only like to sweat at the gym. Wait; TMI? If I know my other half I probably have lights in the mail.....
Pure Jeep sent the wrong length DOM sleeves. Crap happens. They sent them first thing Monday but I won't be able to get to it until the weekend. (They also called me on a Saturday afternoon to help so I can't complain).
Lights are easy- for this install the hubster had to drill holes in the BODY of the Jeep.
No way I helped on that part- I had to walk out of the garage. Couldn't bear to watch.

Which size KCs are those? Want to make sure since there isn't much room in there.
Looks great!

I'll admit I'm not real pleased with the fit of my Rampage tube bumper. The gap between the bumper and the "front" of the Jeep is pretty significant. But I'm loving the looks of the Rampage bumper you guys have installed in this thread.

I flipped the OEM plastic piece around and re installed as others have done and there is no gap.

See Page #1 of the thread- there is a pic. Hopefully you didn't throw your plastic piece away already.

^^These. Makes a huge difference, aesthetically speaking. Without the insert, it just looked wrong, somehow. Sorry for the lame pic; flashlight, dark garage at night...

Ok- so here they are on the Jeep. They look great with the Rampage bumper- but more importantly they are rock solid. I have no concerns about sliding on these. They are true "boat sliders" and wrap all the way around. Install is not for the weary- not diffcult per se but no room for error. I'll do an install detail at a later date.
Part of the reason I bought these was for the "step". I failed to consider that they sit higher than my old stock steps. Great for rock-crawling- but I practically have to lunge to get into my Jeep. So much for the step.....

Anybody have a guess on how much loss in lift I might see with both the front and rear rampage recovery bumpers on a JKUR with the 2.5 inch aev dual sport? Will also be running the ace rock sliders and 315/70r/17 duratracs.

Id say about 1/4 inch in the springs are stiffer than OEM.

I only saw a 1/4 inch drop in the front and maybe that in the rear with both bumpers. I still have the OEM suspension and tires.

Nope, Sahara. Now, after adding a 100 lb winch, it dropped to a total of a 1/2 inch in the front.

Grrhhhh.....I just got done telling my husband "no more" so I can scrape $$ for the re-gear. Yet I keep going back to your pic. Geesh...now I need a black grill and smoke headlights.
Thanks Jaker.
