Great info. Nearly ordered the RRs today. Interesting that even rampage's own guards don't fit.

I ordered them and had to send them back, they slid straight through. A little disappointing as I think they'd look pretty righteous on the bumper.

I just went with the rampage rear bumper and tire carrier. Very solid bumper and it looks great. I will post a pic when I get home. Assuming there is still daylight.

Nice!
Rampage debuted their new side steps at SEMA. Stupido here didn't get a pic- sorry- but they must be officially "available" now. (They are steps only- not sliders- and none on the way.) Too busy playing with the tool box that looks like/fits in a Jerry can holder.
But I did get this: an adult-erated Rampage (I think). EE GADS! This was after I saw Rampage so I am not sure if they know about this....had to get a pic of the Gold Digger. LOL.

You mean this thing?

Amazon.com: Rampage 86619 Trail Can Utility Tool Box: Automotive

That has been out for about a year now.

Yep- all I need is the rear tire carrier with Jerry can mount so I have someplace to put it.

I thought about that thing when it 1st came out just for the cool factor then I started thinking about it. I really don't want tools banging around in a metal container on the trail. I just have a couple of soft bags from harbor freight and throw everythiing in there.

Me too. The felt lining is pretty decent but I still think it would clank too much. In a 2 door space gets tight for toolboxes unless I take out the rear seat- so it was tempting. Why can't Jeep split that rear seat already? One of my biggest complaints is the seats- comfort and practicality. They're still the same crap I had in my TJ. Seats fold like origami in most cars/vans/trucks nowadays- and we still have a single fold, flat back seat (that doesn't even lock). They DID however change the front seats for the 2013- a lot more comfortable. Watching Craigs List for those.

I would love to see this too! Thinking about getting 2 sets of them! One on the windshield and the other on the bumper

Are you asking to see if they will fit or just to see how they will look?

Both but I didn't realize the d2s were so small, so I probably put those in my fog lights if it will work with the rampage and get a second set latter to put on either side of the winch

I have 6" KC's on each side of the winch so the D2's will fit. Also there is a company out there that makes adapter brackets that will allow the D2's to fit in the fog light hole.

Thought you might be interested to see how I mounted my front plate. I made the bracket with 1/2" wide aluminum, cost me about $4 with hardware. I like that the plate follows the line of the bumper without spoiling its looks, as for clearances it's still higher then the front diff but I could see how this wouldn't work for avid rock crawlers.

You can kiss that puppy good bye first trip out. Why not use the winch mounting holes until you get a winch then you can put it on the fairlead of the winch.

That's a good point. Because of CA laws I have to have one mounted but I dislike the look of it when it is higher up. I figure this will work in the city and it's less than a minutes work to remove it anytime I'm on the trail.

Can you mount your winch on this bumper afterwards, or do you have to have the winch mounted before you install the bumper?

I did mine afterwards by myself with no problems at all. You mount it on the included winch mounting plate then set the winch unit with plate in place and bolt it on in.

Anyone know where to get a replacement bolt for the d-ring? Mine rattled off while driving, I found the d ring but not the bolt. Went to a hardware store and they didn't have one, would Home Depot?
