I've got everything lined up to do this on Saturday and if this is not in, I'm going to be a little pissed to say the least. Hope this works out.....
Well, well, no surprise here - parts did not come in today Should be Monday......... yeah right, that pushes me back until July 4th anyway, so hopefully they are here by Wednesday.

I called 4wp today too. I purchased the rancho kit on 06/09 and changed it to a different kit 06/10. Everything is in...lift, disconnects, exhaust spacers...but the shocks are "expected" to come in any day. Ordered aev drop brackets today as well. Hopefully I'll have it all installed by my next wheeling trip.

You know how this lift is said it fits up to 33in tires. But will it allow 35 inch tires?

Yes, you can fit 35" tires but depending on your Jeep you will have to trim pinch seams, maybe fender flares, and definitely the stock air dam on the bumbler if you have that. I run 35" with a Smittybilt front bumper and flat flares no problem after trimming the rear pinch seam. Before I trimmed the wheel would rub.

Now my wife's 2DR on 33" looks like it has all kinds of room. She could probably get away without any trimming.

I have a 2door Sahara stock everything. Do you think that 35s would rub? Or would they only rub when flexing with sway bar disconnected?

I bought my kit on june 24 and I am having it installed on wednesday. I am just wondering what specifically is required for the rebate. The dealer gave me a dated invoice with the part numbers on it. But I have only paid a deposit of $500 right now. The rest will be paid next week after the install is done.

I have already sent in the dated invoice and rebate form but I'm just wondering if they wanted me to include a slip from a debit machine showing the invoice was paid. I am hoping just the dated invoice will be enough since the invoice won't be fully paid until after the deadline. Right now all I have is a debit slip showing I paid them $500.

As long as that invoice has the parts on it (shocks or system and shocks) there shouldn't be an issue.

Pulling trigger on new tires. Looking at Duratracs. I have a 2008 2dr X with stock 255 75 17's. Looking for opinions:
285x70x17 ()just under 33's) OR 315X70X17 (just under 35's)? Too much tire for a 2dr with stock rims?

I just called Tenneco Promotions who handles the rebates. Mine was 'approved' on 5/23 but hasn't been mailed yet. They told me that printing the VISA cards has been delayed and that it could take another 2 weeks. What a crock!

Has anyone here received a rebate or is this just fiction?

Sorry about this. It is taking longer than we anticipated this year. We switched to a new clearinghouse this year and they have been overwhelmed. It will get to you, you can PM me,if they haven't got it to you in the 2 week time frame and I will see what I can do.

Thanks! I'll get back to you either way.

I guess I have a bad taste in my mouth from my rebate being denied last year on my truck shocks since the shop didn't include part numbers on the invoice.

For what its worth, my rebate submitted on 6/3 is now showing as paid, with a date mailed of 7/18 (two days from now.)

They must be getting quicker here on the tail end - mine shows up as submitted on 7/3 and audited on 7/8 with "payment in progress". I love the look with the new lift on - will look just a bit better once the bumper and winch get on in the next week or two.

I had an AEV 2 inch one and was told no alignment was necessary. Just make sure your steering wheel is centered or you will have issues with the traction control
