I'm going to buy some Rancho RS5000X shocks. I plan on using them with a 2.5 inch spacer lift. I notice these shocks say for use with 4 inch lift. Are those the shocks I am supposed to get or is there a 2.5 inch option?
Go with Rs55326 Rs55330 rear that is what we use with our 2" SPORT system that gets you closer to 2.5". If you want for the front to run a bit longer rs55329 but check your bump stops
Thank you for the response. I was pretty surprised to hear anything today. I'm going to make my purchase tomorrow. Any vendors on WF sell the RS55326 and RS55330 let me know. Or for the extra $100 should I just get a set of the 9000xl's. Very light offroad use, mostly a dd, I've never even ran with the sway bar disconnected before. Enjoy the holiday, thank your service men and women!
I'll be using the TF 2.5 inch BB. It comes with bump stop extensions. Are you guys saying I need additional bump stop, or will those do. Also, I honestly probably won't adjust the shocks past the initial adjustment. Are the 9000xl's worth it knowing I probably won't be using the adjustability feature?
Ok so 29's and 30's sounds like what I want. Are the extended bump stops that comes with the 2.5 inch TF spacer kit enough? Any more comments on whether I should get the 9000xl's over the 5000x's knowing I probably wont take advantage of the adjustable feature.
Also does anyone know if I order from amazon if I still get the 506 rebate?
I can't he,p with the first part, about the bump stops.
The adjustability is really personal preference, I think. We don't adjust ours all the time, but it IS nice to have that option when we need it. (Towing, washboard roads, etc.)
I don't believe there are any restrictions against buying from Amazon with the rebate. You can read all the fine print here:
