Random Top Stuff

I got a 2013 4 door Soft top. About a month after I got it, the dealership called and said that they had a freedom top for me. I'm not a hard top kind of guy, but I never look a gift horse in the mouth. I went and picked up my "Freedom Top" and it was two light boxes and a plastic bag. The dealership was no help in what it actually was, obviously not a freedom top because of the size of the boxes. I did a little digging and found out that what I have is the storage bag for the two removeable front pieces of a freedom top, a box with tinted windows for a soft top and then the mystery box that says 4 DR KIT NA on it. I don't want to open these boxes incase they are not something I want and can get rid of them.

Anyone else get free stuff when they got their Jeep?

uhhh lol. you don't need/want the freedom top storage bag.

they just gave you someone else's door surrounds and windows off their dual top group. you already have those.

That's what I was thinking too, but didn't really know what the last "4 DR KIT NA" is

That box should contain door surrounds and knobs. Probably also contains the tailgate bar brackets, velcro straps, and elastic straps.

How much you want for those door surrounds? I have a hardtop and could use a set for when I buy the softop. Give me a good deal since they were free?!?!

Sounds like the parts box is for a soft top along with windows, if you got the JK with the soft top installed then the parts are either Craigslist bound or you can keep for spares. I ended up with the soft top without the box or windows, the windows alone retail for $600+

$600+? Wow! I did some research on the parts kit and it looks like it is retailing for around $300 and then the bag is around $100

$600 for OEM windows? That seems kinda high...even for retail. You can just get replacements from Bestop for ~$250. Doesn't bestop make the OEM stuff anyways?
