Rattle in Rear Passenger Area

Hello:

I have a 2011 2 dr Sahara with hardtop. Jeep now has 18,000 miles. Has developed terrible rattling from rear passenger side area. On smoot roads no issue. On roads with small imperfections develops rattling sound that continues until back on smooth road. Does not appear to be rear shocks as I can rock the Jeep by hand and not hear any sound--seems normal shock action.
Jeep seems to function normally except for the rattling.

Appreciate any ideas or similar experience others may have had.

Thanks,

Sahara JK

Check that your jack is snugged up. If it's loose it can rattle.

I would check the rear seat. Mine started rattling and tightened it and still rattled so i split a piece of fuel line slipped it over the bracket no more rattle
