When i got my lift ,tires etc on my 15' sahara i was really disappointed that my flashpaq wouldnt work....ive been riding with the computer thinking i have stockers on since march. Well, a few days ago i contacted 4WP to see whats up on the flashpaq that ive already purchased and told them i really just want to input my tire size for my speedo. They told me to come in because it will work for inputting the tire size. I was pretty pissed because i thought it wouldnt let you do anything because they havent broken the code so its been this way for months. Long story short they changed it to 34" because thats what the new tires measure and its a HUGE difference and feels like a new jeep. Acceleration, shifting , everything is great. Im on 3.73s and thought i was going to regear ,but feel its completely unnecessary now.....its like the jeep feels lighter or something.

Moral of the story is make sure you set your tire size....its a huge improvement

So am I crazy that I swear I feel like my Jeep has more power and pep just by inputting correct tire size(32.75"). I got my AEV procal yesterday and used it today. I followed the procedures as explained and everything works fine. Just for good measure I input tire size, reflashed it for stock gear ratio, turned on my DRLs(I think), and toyed with the enhanced idle function while I was at it. I checked my speed with an app on my iPhone and it seems to be within about 1mph +\-.

Is it possible that the computer mapping system is so sensitive it can even make a difference on my '15 Sahara with a 6-spd manual? Or is it just sugar pill effect?

I know it can't change anything in the tranny, but was wondering if it uses the info from tire size to adjust fuel mix or something to somehow deliver more power than it had on stock settings...

Who knows...
