I have a 2008 JKU Sahara aswell... Like anyone will ask it depends on your budget and what you plan to do... Its always nice to start small and work up imo.... Do things like the grill mod with gutter guard then something like plastidip emblems if you prefer that... Or if you want to jump right in go for a set of larger tires like 35's and a decent lift kit like 2.5 or 3in with some nice rims or stay on stock rims... It all depends on what ya want to do with your Jeep atm mine is a daily driver and light off road so I got all I need right now. If you're going to do some offraoding I suggest getting one of the 250+ tool sets from Kobalt or Craftsman plus some good ratchets in case of a problem... If you start small theres a whole sticky for cheap mods in Starbrites post
I bought a bumper and fog lights off craigslist, not sure the brand. I also installed a 2' budged boost for the front that I had from my tj build that worked for a leveling kit, and I traded wheels and tires with a friend. This is what it looks like now.
I just went to the link for extremeterrain.com and in minutes I was talking to a jeep guy. Told him what I had in mind and he totally picked me out some cool stuff. Mammoth 30 1/2 inch lift, 50'inch light bar procomp 18'wheels super chip tuner, im so excited!!! CANT WAIT TO TEAR INTO THIS BUILD! Thank you extremeterrain for the gread deal and the rebates.
I'm glad to hear that we could get you hooked up! Sounds like you're going to have a great looking and working rig when you're done. Let me know if you have any questions about the install or when you're the market for your next mod. I'm always here to help!
