Really bummed...

I was at work yesterday. Weather turned out to be really nice, so I figured I'd remove the doors and front roof for the drive home. Before you try it, the doors can't lay flat between the center console and rear tailgate. Rear seat is already removed. 1" short, because of the hump on the left side of tailgate.

Now that I think about it, i probably could have leaned them on edge. have to carry a moving blanket with me.

I did take the roof off and opened the rear window, though.

My daughter asked me what happened with my hair. I replied, "Jeep". she said, "Ahh...".

Buy half doors, then you can pull them apart and yes, bring two bungie straps with you and bungee your doors to roll bar to keep them from banging around/falling out

I'm looking at tubes... My wife asked me when I'd be happy. I told her "when I'm done".

I figure I'm good for a few years.

I'm going to play with them tomorrow. If I can pull them off for the commute, that would be excellent.

Thanks.

Yeah... definite top-down weather around here this past weekend. I even talked the wife into letting our 2-month-old ride in the Jeep with the sunrider open

On a related note, I was sitting at the computer last night when our 7-year-old came into the room with the Quadratec catalog, points to a set of tube doors, and tells me that I HAVE to buy them for her...

Yeah the weather's been fantastic, minus the occasional shower.

I ordered my tube doors today, and I plan on getting the panels for them soon. Got them on Amazon, price was $15 than QTec, and shipping was free.

It says
  • Includes optional heavy duty storage pockets that can be positioned either inside the vehicle or outside
But I'm assuming that this was just bad wording and it doesn't actually include the $117 storage bags in that price.
