I am waiting for the new Tntcustoms.com rear bumpers. I saw the prototypes this weekend and their is a great rear winch option bumper that has a new design from their previous. They also have a new minimalist bumper that I am thinking of running with the teraflex tire carrier. It should shave off a decent amount of weight and help the rear approach angle.

I'm in. Just finished the front, now looking for ideas for a back bumper. It will be home made, but I'll definately be getting ideas from looking at others

So has anyone received their new Ace rear bumper/carrier yet?
I see all these posts of people saying they are waiting and waiting and there are different reasons for the wait... ?

I would really like to see some pics of installed new Ace bumpers. Anyone?

I actually got mine in yesterday and installed, still have to wire up the rear lights, but got the bumper installed and the Delta Lug Nut 3rd Brake Lights installed. Give me a few and I'll get a couple pics.

EDIT: Let me know if you want anything in particular.

Awesome! You got it on quick!

I went wheelin with my friend Bob over the weekend who has had his Ace rear bumper on for maybe a month now - the tire carrier has rusted and dripped all over his bumper. On the back, bottom of the tire carrier - facing the Jeep there is a little lip on the bottom that collects water, that's where it's rusting. I think it's just a matter of poor powder coating. I think a bead of caulk there would fix it. I'm interested to see what Ace says to him.

I do like the 3rd brake light, I think I'll get that one. You happy with it so far?

Expedition One rear bumper with swing away tire carrier. Been in place for three years without any problems. Been carrying a 37" spare for the last two years also.

That's sick. If only I had a trek top, such a modification would be feasible. Great job on the tire carrier!

I think when I get my orders and move back to the states next year. I'm going with JCR. There bumpers look tough and made in the USA.

These are some of the pics from there websight. I think I want to go with the second one.

So far, I really do like all of it. Problem is my tags are expired so I can't go drive it yet. I noticed the spare sticks out further than stock. I wish I would have measured for before and after measurements, I also forgot to measure the rear height to see any drop after putting the new setup on.

I have to agree with chim-chim and Rtone1583.The Expedition One rear bumper with tire carrier is an excellent bumper. All together it weighs about 140 lbs (and add your spare on top of that). An expensive set up, but worth it in my opinion.

I took a rough measurement and the spare sticks out about 6 inches further than factory. Don't know if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

I noticed that on Bob's. I guess it's ok in that you can move it up higher if you need. Which is what he's going to do because we had mud on it from this obstacle, it was on the ground. It looks like on their new bumper the carrier doesn't stick out nearly as much.

I wonder if someone wanted to, if they could buy just the tire mount with a shortened length to pull it closer to the carrier.

No problem! I am still working on the final install. I did move the spare up a spot so that the receiver carrier I have will fit with the spare on. I am also still in the process of wiring the rear lights up. I'm at a stopping point until I get my sPod so I don't have to wire them up twice.

In the future I'll probably go with a streamlined Poison Spyder or JCR bumper.
I am leaning the same way. TF HD Carrier and tire mount, but looking hard at the Poison Spyder Brawler Lite. Just wish I could find good 2.5" leds to go in. I have read the ones they offer aren't all that.

I having problem with what way to go with the rear bumper. Doesn't seem to be as much thought into the rear as the front other then the tire carrier. Need one that will look good with the Bushwacker flares. Sort of like the JCR though

I noticed you have an XHD front bumper with the Bushwacker flats. Have you considered the XHD rear bumper at all and how it would look with the Bushwackers? I also have the XHD front bumper with stubby ends and will be getting Bushwacker flares, but I hadn't considered how it would look with the matching XHD rear bumper. It seems the bumper would extend past the flares and a narrower bumper might look better.

I've searched and haven't found any pics yet with that combo.

Great one more thing to make my search that much harder. Thanks guys. I'm still looking for a rear bumper/ tire carrier. Not sure if I want it attached to the tailgate or not. And now I need to see how it will line up w flatties. Ugh. I'm running out of time.

GenRight aluminum rear bumper. It weighs 30 lbs with the steel shackle tabs.

I wish I had more pictures of it finished, but I just had it coated and I installed it last week. This shows how well it flows with the BW flat flares.

I have a friend that has the Expedition One and it looked great until he got flat fender flares added. The wide wrap around is made to fit nice with the stock fender flares but it just looks weird with after market flares. I like the look of the GenRight and the fact it is light weight helps, just wondering how well a aluminum bumper will handle a rear impact or if you get it caught on a rock on the trail. How easy would it bend or dent? It is a toss up right now between the JCR and the GenRight because of the thin wrap around which looks so much better with the flat flares. Any others out there like that?

Not a real fan of the separate swing out tire carrier. Thinking of the Teraflex hinged tail gate support and a separate bumper.

Anyone know if the RR xhd rear bumper textured finish will match the rampage recovery front bumper textured finish? Thanks.
