Rear Cargo Shelf for JK 2 Door

I really, really hate to start a new thread just for this, but I need some help. We have 4 Dachshunds and they love to ride in the back of the Jeep. I took the backseat out and the flat floor is great until we have to haul gear, suitcases, etc.

What I really need is a shelf that sits across the entire back area of a 2 door, and sits level with the cargo area. I need room above it so the dogs can sit there comfortably and see out the windows, but we still have room underneath for "stuff."

I cannot find anything like this, except for JKUs. The options for the Unlimiteds are exactly what I need. I simply don't have time, or the means, to make a DIY one for myself.

Does anyone know of a rack/shelf for the cargo area of the 2 door JK that I could take a look at?

Thanks a ton. That looks really, really, close to what I'm looking for. I will email Ace and get specifics. I am afraid the tray for the two door isn't quite right, as I'm looking for something to cover the entire back with the seats out of the 2 door, not a tray that would accomodate the seats being flipped up, but I will get the dimensions from them.

Again, appreciate it!

No problem. Glad I could help. We also have a Dachshund but she rides on my wifes lap.

That's pretty nicely done. It's looking like I am just going to have to make time to create something on my own. Not that big of a deal, but I am a little surprised there's not something out there already.

Seems like there's plenty two door owners that don't have a back seat. I know it's a niche within a niche market, but I can't be the only person looking for a good solution for dogs/maximizing the cargo space in the back of my JK.

Anybody know anything about this Rampage rack? It says it is specifically made for a 2 door with the rear seat removed, but I would love to see pictures if anyone can dig some up...
