Rear end leak

I just replaced the rear end oil on my 2008 JK 3.8 2-dr. I thought i did a good job sealing up the rear end so that it didnt leak oil. I look under the diff.the other day and found that it is leaking a drop or two everyday. This drives me nuts. Maybe i didnt use the sealer. I did make sure that everything was nice and clean before i put the lid back on. Is there a better product out there to use for making a gasket around the rear end. I forgot to mention,i changed the oil because of the same little leak coming out of the rear end.

Did you properly torque the bolts?

No i did not.....i do not know how much to torque them. Does anyone know. I knew i should of too.

Using a star/criss-cross pattern, 25-30 ft. lbs. And ALWAYS torque to spec! Mark W.
