Rear Ended

Stopped at a light this am in my 08 JK when BAM!! ..rear ended by a girl in a 2001 Taurus.
The taurus grill smashed into the radiator, the hood buckled almost to its windshield and looked like frame damage around the driver side door.
The Jeep...A one inch slit in the rear bumper.
WRANGLERS RULE!!!
fyi..everyone's ok

Dang it. That sucks. Could you tell if she was on her cell phone?

Glad you made out OK!! Jeeps are still tough, you can't deny that!!

My buddy just bought a 2012 JKU a couple of months ago. He had it for one week before the same thing happened to him, except it was a Mustang that hit him. It cracked his rear bumper cover and bent the recovery hook. Her front end was smashed.

I'd have the rear frame crossmember in your Jeep measured by a frame shop just to be safe.
If she drilled your reciever hitch it may have tweeked your frame.
