Relocating FM antenna

Anybody relocate their FM antenna to the back? I want to add a rear light bar and add dual antennas on the bar. One for a CB and the other for FM. Just wondering how to run the antenna cable from the front to the back. Also want the FM antenna to match the CB antenna. Are there FM antennas that look like CB antennas?

I ran my stock antenna to the rear right corner of the inside of the jeep. The cable goes behind the glove box cable tie wrapped to brace, behind kick panel and along passenger floor under the plastic moldings and facia. As far as in the rear door you can follow the faCTORY WIRING BUT I DON'T THINK the antenna cable is that flexible and eventually might break. Mine is a two door. There might be some more flexible cable just not sure on that. Search my previous posts and you will see a few pics. I just modded my antenna recently.

What did you use to plug the hole in the fender?

Another trail badge like the one on the drivers fender. Looks real clean. One of our other members had a picture of it on his MW3. He used the hidden antenna, but my reception was too poor with it. I just remounted the stocker tucked in to the roll bar padding in the rear.

Yepper, I have done it. Firestik makes a splitter that allows you to use 1 CB antenna for CB and am/fm reception. I still have the stock radio so I had to pick up an antenna adaptor.

Where do you get antenna cable to extend it to the back? Don't say google it. I'm here to make conversation.

I definitely going to do this. I want to plug the hole with another Trail Rated badge as well.

Metra Online | Antennaworks Aftermaket Antennas

You need the metra 40-EU30 adapter if the radio is stock. All the rest you can get there to. Not sure what your antenna is going to be. Don't buy the hidden one in my opinion. The trail badge i got from Quirk chrysler/Jeep in mass. on line about $30 free shipping. Check them on ebay. Good luck I saved you a few mouse clicks.................. I reused my oem antenna in rear and made my own cable with RG6 "CATV" wire the above adapter, a RCA type antenna plug from radio shack solderd on and a female connector to the antenna.

A local stereo shop would have the adaptor for the antenna cable. I got my Trail Rated badge off eBay, the splitter of eBay as well, but check Amazon too.
