Remove cowl cover

Who can tell me how to remove the cowl cover. I see the four screws but how the $56);7!((?$$ do I get the wiper arms off to remove it after the screws are out?

The wiper arms have to come off and I don't see how to release them from what I assume are splined studs.

Pull gently other wise you may damage the arms. I have used a battery terminal puller to remove wiper arms. Available at most auto parts stores for a few dollars.

On my 09 JKU there is a plastic cap that flips back (although not real apparent and you have to pull on it pretty hard to get it to pop off). After that there is a nut to remove and then pull whole assembly off - puller helps here.
