Removing the two tire bumpers?

Apologies guys. I have tried to search and Googled for these part and I don't know what they are called. I replaced my rear bumper with a SmittyBuilt XRC bumper that holds my spare tire.

There are two rubber "bumpers" that held the tire a certain distance from the tailgate when it was mounted to the tailgate.

Do they make a flat piece, or something that can replace these no longer needed rubber parts? In fact, the place that installed the bumper shaved a bit off the left one to allow the tire carrier bar to close.

Those are referred to as bumpstops. If they just screw in or pop in, maybe some hole plugs from Ace hardware?
