Give yourself lots of time have all the right tools you will need and more just incase. Have a buddy come over and help too. Also take the grill off, I started my install with it on and scratched it with a screwdriver. Those plastic plugs are a pita I had to break all mine off so be prepared for that. You havn't provided much info but hopefully this will help.

I just finished this on an 07.

This plastic plugs suck. Be prepared to drill them out.

Have an 18mm deep socket with extension and long ratchet for leverage.

I put on the rugged ridge bumper and then needed 3/4 inch socket with extension along with 3/4 wrench.

I took mine off this week to replace it with a new one (mine got hit). It is a pain to access the bolts with the air dam on but it is possible, I undid the 8 bolts, then let the bumper hang down a little (support it because there are wires and two lower plastic to frame tabs). Once you have it rotated down you have easy access to the plastic tab/screws to remove them without ruining them. You need to have a screwdriver inserted into the end to push the screw out as you unscrew it from the head end. Once you get the screws out the tabs pop out and you can reuse them. When I put the other bumper back on I did the bumper first and then the air dam so that I could have better access to the bumper mount bolts.

As for the wires attached to the bumper, I cut the clips on the bumper and then just zip tied the wire bundle to the frame after re-install. too bad I didn't take any pics, but it's not a hard job, that air dam is just annoying.

Do a search for: JK bumper removal tutorial". Tried to get you there, but have forgotten how to do it.
It's a picture by picture "how to" that is excellent.

I had an 08 4dr and built a bumper and added a winch. This year bought a 13 4 dr and removed the bumper from the 08 and put it on the 13. They are identical for removal & install.
Good luck!
