Looking to replace the stock radio antenna that screws on the outside of the Jeep with a smaller whip type antenna. Any links or sites that sell them. Cannot find any at local auto stores.
I bought mine off eBay for under $20. Works just as good as the stock one. About 1' long black rubber. Ill get a better pick buts its the best I have now. Shipped fast to. Got it within 3 or 4 days.
Yes. Installed yesterday. I live in NJ. Reception went from perfect on all FM stations to non-existent above the 105 range. Unfortunately I have 2 presets in that range. I love the look but I may go back to stock.
Maybe. Try turning the base of there antenna. I'm not that worried about. Lol my wife thinks its "cute" anyways i think its cuz is so small.........wait a minute she says the samething about.........nvm.
thanks for the hook up I ordered two one for my wifes JK as well they contrast well with some of the other black options on the jeeps, hers is gray and mine is yellow
Good idea I just went to the drive thru carwash and dude always bends my antenna trying to unscrew that giant thing and proceeds to poke it in my window to get thru the carwash. Then you got to get out and screw it on again. With this antenna I am going to say no leave it
I remember the salesman telling me that the Jeep antenna was so long that you could use it as a guage for water foraging before your engine would flood out.
Just got confirmation that mine has shipped...saw this in email..PLEASE NOTE: Antennas must be unscrewed or retracted like any other car antenna before going through any automatic car wash, otherwise it will break.
I like the rubber whip style instead of the short version of what I already have..why not just cut off what you already have stock antenna and save you some money $18.99 vs $14.99...but nice to have a choice.
