Replacing my lifters ATM, need a little help

I know this is non tech but there's no one really in the tech section, sorry guys, so anyways, I started having a lifter tick about a month ago, then Friday night it totally seized and the tick got alot louder and pulled a check engine light. Had my mechanic take a listen to it, narrowed it down to the left side of the manifold,
Possibly middle valve, oddly enough though after 30 seconds of running, the noise completely went away, but when given gas, returned... His guess was that the oil pressurized and made the lifter stable which stopped the tick.

It's Deffinitly a top end tick, no noise coming from under the oild pan so it's not rod knock. I'm beginning to pull the manifold apart but my Haynes Manuel kind of sucks, it's for all models to not just the JK so some of the pictures and diagrams aren't of my motor. Im trying to releive the fuel pressure in the lines but can't find a bleeder valve. I'm not running the motor anymore because of how bad it is so running it till it's dry won't work. Can I just disconnect the fuel line and drain it that way, I have the battery unhooked so it shouldn't keep pressurizing, I'm just looking for the easiest way to do it. Thanks Guys.

If you have the battery unhooked you can begin. Try to have a good rag to catch the bleed off when you disconnect the fuel line. I'd get ziplocks for all the bolts removed and label the bags with what they are.

Good luck,
