Replacing OEM springs with current lift

I currently have a 2013 JK Sport that I installed a 2.5" ProComp Lift and 33" tires.

I took it out with some friends and hit the trails. I did not get stuck and only had some light scrapes of the skid plates on a couple steps along the trail.

One of my friends suggested that I maybe go to a 3.5" lift.

My question is since I am running OEM springs, could I change out to a taller aftermarket spring or do I need to buy a new lift.

I hate to invest in another lift so soon. If this is a complete noob question I apologize!!
