My Jeep came with yellow "Sahara" stickers just behind the front wheel. I'd like to replace them with red ones. Can I do this myself or should I take it to a local bodyshop?
Use blue painter's tape to mark the original sticker location. You can use one strip above or below, or both. As mentioned Pixel Decals is a trusted source for all kinds of decals. If you don't see anything you like on the web site, contact them and they should be able to help you out.
Do it. Park in sun so it gets nice and hot. add a little heat from a hair dryer and they will peel right of with your thumbnail. wipe down any access glue with wd40 and your good to install the new ones. Took me like 15 minutes.
I have used Pixel Decals and Vinyl Disorder and I can give a vote of confidence to both of them. You can't go wrong with either, my only drawback with Pixel Decals is the amount of time to receive your stickers, otherwise a great company.
I always wanted to make a hood decal similar to the Mountain edition for my sahara. I think it could have looked super cool but I never was able to make a design to match what was in my head
Those are sweet! Looks like I'll be ordering a pair from Pixel.
