33x12.5/15 Duratracs

No lift:

After and with front bumper and a very heavy rear bumper with a tire carrier:

Lift is a Teraflex 2.5" coils with Bilstein 5100 shocks.

Here is my 2013 JK Freedom Edition with a 2" lift and 33" Nitto Terra Grappler tires. The tire size is 285/70/17 and they not not rub any.

I'm kinda in teh same boat, I have 33's on a white JKU, and had the intention of going with a 2.5" lift, I really like the look with no lift though, so I have hesitated to add the lift.

33's (305/70/16) with a Teraflex leveling lift 2" front 1" rear just enough lift for 33's and they will not rub off road.

Teraflex advertises it's leveling lift as 2", but really it's 1.5" if you average it out.

Sorry no before pics as I had my lift done before I got 33's.

Do you have any pics of the front or rear? wondering how much they stick out from the fenders. ...I have the same leveling kit (on my JKU) and thought I was stuck with the 285's as my biggest duratrac option. thanks

Sure.

The tires stick out 1.5" to 2" which gives the Jeep an aggressive look, but then here in Ontario, Canada the police never stop vehicles for tires sticking out past the fenders. I've seen 4x4's with the entire tire out past the fender and the police drive right buy...lol

No rubbing issues at all on this setup w/ no lift? Thinking of getting the same tires, doubt I'll be getting a lift anytime soon, just want to make sure there are no issues.

None at all, even full turn. But I have not had it rock climbing and full articulation either and I doubt I will anytime soon. Those rims also have 4" Backspacing. The Duratracs are 285/75R16.

I am very open to hearing your feedback on if the tires are too small for the lift. thats my bigget concern. that said, would I really see a much bigger difference if I put on a 305, or 315 tire?

lets the opinions flow please...i deamdn honesty
