Well for starters, NEVER did I call anyone on these Forums a poseur, as I assume most that are on here, are actually into Jeeping and not just into an image. (you should take the time to actually comprehend my original post where I declared I wasn't)

As for what defines "Jeeping" I leave that alone, the same way I do what defines "Dualsport" Motorcycling, as perception can only be determined by the individual I.M.H.O. in terms of use.

Now that were past the calling out....
I'd like to thank everyone for their replies (from both keyboard bullies and those trying to be helpful) as it's given me insight into both the product and this group. (which was the point of my post)

I would like to hear even more input, as to how the interiors are holding up when they're exposed to all weather/seasons, all of the time.

Why don't I buy an older jeep?
2 simple reasons....
1. I live in Pa where everything is a rust bucket.
2. I live in a City Row-home with no garage and I'm not allowed to work on a vehicle in the street.
....so I need to start off with something reliable and maintain it.

A 2 door is also out, because we're a 1 vehicle family (besides my motorcycle) and a kid is in the future so, some practicality is needed.

Thanks again for all of the replies.
To those looking for Troll arguments, I'm sorry to let you down and I hope you have better luck inciting someone else.

TOK, the bike is a 2009 Suzuki DR650, it's my third. (I've also owned a 91 and a 97)...and it's what many KTM riders call a "poseur" Dualsport.
I'm not one of those people who take myself sooooo seriously, that I can't handle being a poseur, myself.
Hell, when I get my 4 Dr. Unlimited, I 1/2 expect it but, simply don't care what others think, unless it's tangible evidence. L.O.L.!

my wife has an unlimited with all the electronics and i have a 2 door. Only electronics i have are and amp and sub. I put the amp under the passenger seat and i wheel with doors off all the time. My wife and i have followed each othe thru mud holes and water crossings every time out. Splashing and playing til our hearts our content. No problems what so ever with any electronics. So i say get the options you want or dont want and enjoy. Once you find the right group to wheel with you wont feel like such a "poser". I doubt youll regret it either way.

Having rented JK's in Moab that are exposed and abused 365 days a year, I can pretty much assert you will be fine.
