Reverse camera added!!!

I couldn't deal with not being able to see anything behind me anymore so i decided to start looking into different camera mounting options, and this is the best I found keeping into consideration i won't be towing anything. even if i did want to tow it is on a quick disconnect system (locking of corse). Let me know what you think.

It's being run with the NAV-TV interface as well as an Alpine HCE 190° camera.

I'm contemplating adding a flir system onto the NAV-TV interface giving me inferred technology. You could then run in complete darkness and see everything in front of you clearly.

Very Nice, where did you bring the camera wire into the jeep through? The rear tailgate or through the firewall?

Brought it up through the storage compartment for the factroy jack is in the trunk. I'll post pictures of the actual wiring when I get home.

I bought and had everything installed by Al and Eds autosound Marina Delray! Ill see if I can get a member discount if you mention my build (even if you're not local)!!! I'll talk to them tomorrow!! The largest component is the NAV-TV interface which is amazing because it not only allows you to run a camera through the factory screen, but unlocks it all together! For instance I am now able to enter an address while driving, ect... It also allows for two more inputs in addition to the reverse camera! Which is why I am considering the FLIR setup, which is also a product of NAV-TV!!!

Those are the Spyder LED tail lights in black purchased from Shane at Al and Eds. They really complete the look of the jeep in my opinion! Not to mention how much brighter they are.

I could understand that, but at the same time you want to see where it sit's so you don't hit something with the spare! Think of it as a reference mark!

Thanks for posting info on your Rev Camera including wiring. The camera looks good but when I do it I'll find a mounting point up higher as I use my receiver for as another tow point.

I've already found you a better solution! Look into the Brand Motion kit. I was turned on to that by Al and Eds Marina del Rey.

I like the setup man! Looks great!

Just curious, are you an investor in Al and Eds? Or do you really like them that much?!

Looks good. I mounted mine right on top of the receiver. I can still use the hitch and it helps in lining up the tongue to the ball.

I have no affiliation with their company but they hooked it up for me and did a great job so I decided spread the word!! We may also be working on some other stuff for the future.
