Reverse lighting

Im not sure if everyone agrees but I think the jeep reverse lights (even aftermarket led taillights) are pathetic. Has anyone rigged some lights to their tailgate or rear bumper that give out a decent amount more of light? I was considering getting the offroad lights from walmart and drilling them in behind the rear fenders and adding a switch

I've picked up some relatively low cost CREE replacement bulbs from ebay a while back:

Still needed more so I've got Rigid SRM diffused on my roof rack (all three sides so I can see when scoping out and setting up camping spots at night)... they work great for assisting my reverse lights too!

Turns night into day. 2x6" LED's wired to reverse lights. Mounted in ACE Pro Series rear bumper.

They are Lifetime LED. Not willing to pay Rigid's price, and at the end of the day, they are guaranteed for life. No issues either.

Rigid Industries backup lights.

The are very bright and they come on automatically with backup. I also have them wired so I can turn them on manually when needed.

I have a rampage rear bumper with the reverse lights mounted in it. When I back up it looks like my headlights are one LOL
