The hoops were designed to tilt towards or away from the Jeep. We have heard of many that installed it in that form, but this is the first time we have seen a picture. It looks good.
I much prefer the forward leaning configuration. Only because where I live we have a LOT of deer, therefore if I were to hit one, it would push the deer down as opposed to up over the hood. In theory anyway...
My rr bumper has the same option. When I didn't have the winch in it looked better leaning with the contour of the grill. Now I am thinking of changing it to lean as yours is. Although I just found out that I have to completely remove the bumper and winch to get the damn transmission line recall done. I will be an expert installer soon.
