Reviews Skyjacker 2501kcr...

jeep dealer I called recommends this over the Mopar kit. This is the one they install in all Jeeps whose owners want a 2 inch lift installed. Any feedback and reviews? I own a 2012 JK and need one for street driving and not off roading. Will likely get 17's and 33 tires after the install. They want 600 for the install and 1000 for the kit, however he said I can buy it myself if I can get it cheaper. Thoughts please

If you are just doing it for looks, just get the TeraFlex Leveling spacer lift. It adds 2" in front and 1" in rear and its $130... And 33's look right at home with that setup. $1600 is an insane amount to spend on a lift that you will not be off-roading with. And if you can find some local Jeeper's to help with the install, that will save you money on the installation charge.

There are quite a few threads with pics with the Leveling kits.. just do a quick search for TeraFlex leveling kit.

Thanks, but stupid me is a dealer junkie. I will go nowhere else cause I am an idiot....no need to tell me lollll If anyone has insight on this particular kit let me know. I can get it online in Quadretech and do not need to buy from Jeep for 1000/dollars. He stated His Jeep dealership does not use the Mopar kits. Thanks all

I got a truxxx leveling kit 2.5" and 1.5" installed and alignment for 600$ ( mind you my prices were cost and the labour/alignment also discounted threw my company ) but it would bright around 1000$ for customers. Gives my 33's lots of room to play with.

You can get a Teraflex 1.5 coil performance leveling kit or even a ful 2.5 coil kit with shocks etc for under $700. Install it your self and become knowledgeable about your jeep in the process = priceless.

That makes absolutely no sense at all. The money that you would save buying a leveling kit would almost pay for your 17" and 33's...

And I would NOT be buying SkyJacker. If you are going to just waste your money, then look at TeraFlex or Rock Krawler kits.

Or buy your lift and I'll drive up there and install it for you for the difference. I can pick up some body armor, arb lockers, new winch, etc in the process before coming home and we'll call it a day

All I wanted was a review on the kit and not how I am wasting my money. Thanks anyway

Just do a internet search. Skyjacker has the worst review of any lift on a Jeep. Absolutely run. Doesn't matter if you can get it for half as much which is all it actually should be. Skyjacker used to make a decent lift but no more. Complaints of severe sagging and vibration. One review site had loads of reviews on this lift and 2 stars was a high review

Suggestions if they will put the lift you buy on is Teraflex, Rock Krawler, OME, AEV or even BDS or Daystar. There are others too but these are great starting points. Also look at the review section at the top of the forum for reviews by fellow members.
