right side door mirror .

I just received the kit from Rough Kountry to remove the mirrors from the doors and mount on the front windshield pillar. The look realy nice . Also attached the door blanks for a nice clean look. The big problem is that you can not see jack shit out the right side with the doors back on. They need to make the right hand replacement bracket 2 to 3 inch's longer . I drive heavy trucks and do not like blind spots. Does anyone make a longer bracket ????? I would have bought mirrors that mount on the door hinges but they all look like crap .

I made some spacers. Used 1/8" steel plate, cut to match bracket, and painted. Used a bunch to get the distance just right. Looks OEM btw. Had to do it for my snorkel, and it works great! Good luck. Just need an angle grinder and stock.

I'm like you and use my side view mirrors allot. I bought some DieTech brackets that mount on the hinges and use the stock mirrors. After a while I saved up and bought an extra set of mirrors so I don't have to swap off of the doors.

I read on here that to just swap the mirror mounts and use top bolt in the mirror mounts tight. Problem solved
