What wheels are you looking at? Lifting isn't necessary unless you are planning a wheel/tire combo that is taller/wider than the stock 32's.

I just put AEV Pintler wheels and 255/80/17 BFG KM2's on my 2dr Rubi which currently has NO lift. The wheels are an inch wider and the tires are 2in taller than stock and there is no issues with rubbing. I have the AEV 2in spacer lift sitting in my shop that is going on this weekend but its only for looks not for anything else.
