Ring and Pinions Sets. What Size and How Much?

Just wanted to poll the group to see if any of you have gone out and swapped gears in your JKs. What size did you end up going with, and how much did it cost to have them professionally installed?

Hallo. Not sure what you mean when you ask "what size"- do you mean what ratio, or what brand, or what? As for size, you need the type that fit a JK axle- either a JK Dana 30 or JK Rubicon 44 front, and a JK Dana 44 (Rubicon or non-Rubicon). Make certain you specify JK ring and pinion, or it won't fit.
As for cost, I pay $300 per axle. My guy is pretty good, and stands by his work. He takes his time, and sets them up right- Mark W.

Ah- well, the ratio you want depends on the size of tires you're running, and what you plan to do with. And you? Mark W.
P.S. 4.88's and 35's for wheeling. On-road only, I'd say 4.56's for 35's
