Rock Hard & Body Armor Sliders/Steps

I was looking at the Rock Hard 4x4 Sliders and the Body Armor 4x4 Sliders and was curious as to ya'lls opinions. Protection is nice but also need a step for my kids.

Body Armor JK-4121 - Body Armor 4x4 Rockcrawler Side Guards for 07-13 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door - Quadratec

Rock Hard 4x4 Tube Style Rocker Guards - 4 Door 2007-2013 JK (pair)

I know that ACE sliders come highly recommended, but wasn't sure if they stuck out far enough for a good step. Plus the other two I mentioned have a square tube near the pinch seam that would kind of fill the gap similar to what others do with adding rubi rails with Ace sliders.

What do ya'll think?

I run rockhard gear tip to tail and personally wouldn't run anything else. I like the coverage, craftmanship and the looks. I run their "normal" rock sliders and think they are awesome can't imagine running anything else. The link you have in your OP are the people I bought them from and had install.

I bought the Body Armor side guards back in November and put them on my Sport S myself. Just going by the pictures, I'd say the Body Armor's were finished better. Anyway, I am happy with my selection.
