Think this is going to be my next significant upgrade. I really like their skid plates. Any experience with their sliders? I am looking at:

Not as of yet, but I did order a set for my 2014 Unlimited Willys Wheeler a few days ago. Rock Hard 4x4 got back with me and said they are "slammed busy" and they wouldn't be shipping out for about a week and a half, but once I get them, I'll be able to give some feedback. Ordered the same set your link references.

As per my previous thread I just updated, I now have their tubular sliders and they are solid and apart from a small fitment issue, seem to be top quality. (I had to buy longer bolts and it jacked up my pinch seam a bit.)
I can vouch that they are super busy as I picked mine up at their shop. Luckily their new warehouse is in the works! I'm sure it'll speed things up.
Plus the people there are great. When I bought them they were more than helpful at the shop..and James was helpful in trying to help me get them installed.

Will be buying my skids from there soon.

What was the deal on the bolts? And how did it mess up your pinch seam?

Got their full skid plates installed a couple weeks ago and will be picking up their boat sides here in the next month or so. Really good quality stuff.

If it means anything, I know the Genright SE rep and he had nothing but praise for RockHard parts and Genright makes some of the nicest stuff available.

For some reason the slider didn't fit tight up against the body for the body mounts. It would only catch a thread or two. Buying the longer bolts was the only solution.
Also the bolts through the pinch seam were a bit off (which apparently is common judging by other posters on here). Because the bolts didnt line up exactly, putting it on then having to take it back off caused it to catch on the seam. When I finally got it out the pinch seam was bent and the paint cracked off of it. Had to bend it back and throw some primer in it. Hopefully no rust now.
Was a mystery to both James and I why it wouldn't fit..I think it was related to the welding. Maybe it was bad steel and warped a little. It wasn't a quick and painless install..but there are a lot of variables between jeeps I'm guessing?
This is a 15 with 4000 miles on it. Not an off road rig yet.

Hey Jason, if you are reading... Is this still an issue on these?

I honestly think it was just the tack welds for the 6 pinch seam bolts. Just a tad too big. Other dimensions were right so I would guess pretty uncommon. No doubt on quality, that's for sure. I am going to continue buying parts from them, if that tells you anything.

I've had the tube sliders on my jeep for a month now, I like the step but haven't managed to bash them on anything yet( I keep picking good lines I guess) but I have no doubt the can take a beating . They went on easy the small body holes need to get widened a tad other than that the hardest part was getting the big body bolts to start threading, you have to push up a bit to get them to start.

They really look nice. From the research I have done they seem to cover wheel to wheel the best for bolt on solutions.

Would you mind taking a more straight on shot so I can see the area under the door to the rail?

I've narrowed my choice for new sliders to these and possibly the Ace versions. Given that I am planning on RH's front and rear bumpers, I'll likely go with these.

Can I get a confrim ?
I recall on the video that they can be ordered / made with less of an upward angle. That would make the step part better for my needs.

Yes - we can flip the bar so it faces down rather than up. No additional charge.

Thanks! Installation was relative painless. The second one went smoother, and then I went back to the first and tweaked some things. No installation issues caused by the sliders themselves. I didn't "think through" things quite as much on the first one. Very happy with the end result!
