Looks like those wouldn't last one trip on the rocky trails here in SoCal . . . that nifty center peice would get ripped off in a heartbeat. Not my style . . . if you get them, I'd stick to the black stuff and stay away from the rocks.

One question. Why?

If you want your bling, buy a cadalac or a hummer

Personally if Im gona bust a rim up its gona be a 60 dollar craiger rim.

Whats next? Spinners? Body kit?

Just bustin yah

looks like a tough enough rim.......might just mess up the shiny part, but i dont think youd destroy it

^Doubtful. Those would fold in a heartbeat over any real rocks. Also, you're trading away sidewall going to 18's- I'd always want more tire than wheel off-road.
On-road, I'm sure beyond the inevitable curb rash and possible de-blinging by gangs/teens, they'll last well.
Wouldn't be caught dead with them on a Jeep. Ever- Mark W.

I personally like these wheels. I saw a set of these on a jeep that the guy left the center caps off and it looked really sharp.

I think they would look cool with some trail rash and some fractured center caps!

Heh, definately not my style, but if you like 'em, then don't worry about the giggles and pointing, just enjoy them.

They are cool wheels, just not rock/tree compatible. IMO.

Wink

5 min vid of the rockstars

20" rockstars without center caps

shows how cheap the plastic center caps are (shown with NITTO trail grapplers)

and of course 30" rims......30 inch rims!!!!

These rims wouldn't even make it over the curbs at the MALL!!!

Thats what I thouht when I saw it again yesterday. I do have to say that If you want your Jeep to look like 7 out of 10 jeeps you see mallcrawling go ahead and and get you some 20' rockstars with 35 nittos. Anyone can do whatever they want bit I find it kinda silly to spend that kind of money and have a good chance of having 4 or 5 that look just like it within 50 miles of you.

Personally wouldn't put them on any of my vehicles let alone a Jeep, ugly IMO. OP, you say you cant find flat black wheels?? There are plenty, most manufacturers make them. Look at pro comp, black rock, American racing or just google it.

Yours look sweet, waterboy. I love the all red too. Haven't seen one of those in my area. I love my Rockstars---I only plan on light off-roading. No trees or rocks for me.

I actually started down that Rockstar Road, but decided I liked the stockers better. Glad I made that decision as I'm not so keen on them anymore.

Not a big fan myself, although the XD Series in general seems to be very popular, don't mind the addicts at all, but the rockstars, not so much. I hear they get pretty bad rock rash too, but it's a jeep, can't really go wrong. Unless you go with spinners or something over 22 inches,
