Looks like those wouldn't last one trip on the rocky trails here in SoCal . . . that nifty center peice would get ripped off in a heartbeat. Not my style . . . if you get them, I'd stick to the black stuff and stay away from the rocks.
Bite the hand that feeds you . . . you've had more than enough to eat already.
^Doubtful. Those would fold in a heartbeat over any real rocks. Also, you're trading away sidewall going to 18's- I'd always want more tire than wheel off-road.
On-road, I'm sure beyond the inevitable curb rash and possible de-blinging by gangs/teens, they'll last well.
Wouldn't be caught dead with them on a Jeep. Ever- Mark W.
Thanks guys, wow just got my balls broken, haha......I dont really do any rock climbing just rip around through the woods and mud. But i kinda like the flat black look and cant find any other i like that are flat.....oh yeah definetly not a city boy!! lol
Nice way to bring a year and a half thread back to life.
Thats what I thouht when I saw it again yesterday. I do have to say that If you want your Jeep to look like 7 out of 10 jeeps you see mallcrawling go ahead and and get you some 20' rockstars with 35 nittos. Anyone can do whatever they want bit I find it kinda silly to spend that kind of money and have a good chance of having 4 or 5 that look just like it within 50 miles of you.
I'm here to participate. I didnt come all this way just to watch.
Personally wouldn't put them on any of my vehicles let alone a Jeep, ugly IMO. OP, you say you cant find flat black wheels?? There are plenty, most manufacturers make them. Look at pro comp, black rock, American racing or just google it.
Not a big fan myself, although the XD Series in general seems to be very popular, don't mind the addicts at all, but the rockstars, not so much. I hear they get pretty bad rock rash too, but it's a jeep, can't really go wrong. Unless you go with spinners or something over 22 inches,
