Roll-bar padding wearing thin

Anybody else have a problem with the roll-bar padding wearing thin? I only have a little over 3k on it and took the top down for the first time the other day. I noticed that the padding on the side of the rear bars are wearing thin already. Looks like the top is rubbing it thin and It's on both sides so I don't think its a top alignment problem. Any suggestions?

I have trouble wearing "thin" the heels of my COSTCO Cotton socks-

But my roll bar clearance's are PLENTIFUL and my hardtop-don't move, so there aren't any "wear" thin spots onit !

Mine has a hole worn in it. I think from my spider shade. It is in the back where it sits on the roll bar. Looking for Patch any ideas?

I'll take pics next time I have it down. Had to put it up due to rain later on. But it looks like a friction wear. The padding material looks like it has been rubbed until it "melted" in the widest part on drivers and passengers sides. Oh well, I'm just gonna let it wear completely down until i take it in. It's really not hurting anything.....
