Lightbulb Roof in winter

Hey guys,
In the winter time, i feel my head being pretty cold because there is nothing in between me and the hard top. So this might be stupid, but can i put like carpet or cloth or something on the roof so that it doesn't get so cold?
Thanks.

Best top and Mopar both make head liners for the hard top.

What they said...

Boom Mat, Hotheads, there's even a Mopar version out now. They'll insulate for summer or winter, and supposedly reduce noise, as well.

I bought HotHeads headliners and like them. You could try a winter hat

On the old YJ I had some low pile outdoor carpet glued up. Wasn't pretty, but was hella "jeepy" and kept my head warmer!

Now there are commercial headliners available, so you can take an easier way out!

Also, hats. Always have a few stuffed around in various pockets!

In answer to the OP's question, sure, carpet, foam, etc, will work. You can attach it permanently with contact cement. You could also use some heavy duty double-back tape or hook/loop tape. The expensive commercial liners work fine also.
