A bunch that mount w/soft tops, which means you can probably use em with hard tops, as well, since most soft-top friendly racks allow you to swing em out of the way to raise/lower the top: Talk To me about Roof Racks
I just ordered artificial rain brackets for my roof rack. They are made by Yakima. I plan to drill straight thru the hardtop tho. I will be sure to do a write up after I install it Columbus Day. Here is a preliminary list of what's bought
-Thule 300 foot kit(made for cars with rain gutters)
-58" load bars
-Yakima top loader artificial rain gutters( these come in a 2 pack $35 Thule is a pack for $70)
-outdoor silicone sealing caulk
I am planning on putting the front bar towards the back half of the freedom panels(yes they will hold for highway speeds) and then I will drill the artificial rain gutters into the back piece. I actually found the foot Kit in my moms basement when I was cleaning it out. They are from her bronco II but I think saabs run them. I bought the bars and my ski racks on Craigslist tho. So far I'm into it $70 and I've bought the rain gutters, bars a ski rack and a snowboard rack. I'll also do a garden hose test to show that it doesn't leak.
I'll have a write up with plenty of pictures for everyone after my installation Columbus Day weekend
I just had a Thule cargo box set up on my 2DR w/Freedom top in preparation for the upcoming ski season. I went thru rackattack.com & had it installed at the Portland OR store. Great experience.
Consists on the following Thule parts: 54" track top + 460 Podium feet + associated fit kit + 611 Boxter + 58" load bars.
Fits my 191cm skis w/room to spare. I've read it can fit up to 205cm skis on the Thule website.
