Maybe someone can help me out.

here is the link to the pdf instructions http://www.roughcountry.com/install/656.pdf
About half way down the first page it says
IMPORTANT NOTES : The draglink must be adjusted to the center steering wheel BEFORE the vehicle is driven.Failure to do so will cause a computer error in the Jeep’s traction control system.
I am a little confused by its wording, is it just saying I need to disconnect the draglink from the pitman arm and make an adjustment then reconnect?

No, there are 2 bolts you loosen and then just turn the drag link until your steering wheel is centered. It's very simple to do but may have to be re-adjusted a couple times before you get it just right.

i think he got springs and shocks and a rear track bar relocator only. at 2.5 in you can prolly run stock arms as long as you use the relocator to get the axle centered back up.

Be careful with rough country friend. Their products are notorious for being more for show than actual offroad performance.

I went with the 2.5 spacer kit and rear trac bar bracket. It's going on a DD so I think it will do a good job

Just got the lift and opened it up. Seems like a very easy project, but I'll still keep my fingers crossed.

Don't worry about RC - I had the same perception until I spoke with my outfitter about the different brands. Bushings and the like used to be an issue, but he was confident in the product. The 4" X lift I bought rides and handles great, I just didn't need to spend the extra grand on a heavier duty lift (and didn't)

I have the rough country 2.5 progressive springs and 2.2 shocks. Great kit make sure to RE TIGHTEN all bolts you played with during install after about 500 miles and try to torque them. The relocation bracket isn't really needed. And if you put it on. I would strongly suggest welding it on.

I put the 4" x on my 06 LJ today. The pitman arm had to get the plasma cutter (broke the pitman puller) but the entire kit went on like it was supposed to. the only thing that slowed me down was lack of experience and some stobborn stock parts. I'll have pics up tomorrow.

can you tell me what length you set yoru control arms? i set mine 1/4" longer that stock and got about a 3.75 inch lift. im thinking another 1/8" or a hair more would put me around 4. any advice?

Lift is on! Got the lift on yesterday, very easy install. Tool me and a friend about 2 hours, not rushing. I'm very satisfied with what I got out of it, 2.5" front and 2" rear.

My only concern is when I drive and take quick little turns you can feel it sway back and forth. Now it might be bc I still need proper backspacing, need to get used to the new feel of the suspension, or maybe bc I've had a Honda accord for 3 years and I forget how a lifted vehicle feels.

If you attempt this lift I would keep and eye out for these things while installing. 1. Try to get the vehicle as high as possible on the jack stands bc the axles will need to drop quite a bit. 2. Watch the emergency brake line when doing the rear, it will get very tight when axle is dropped. 3. I didn't need to adjust the steering wheel after instal so don't be surprised if the same happens to you.

I didn't get as many pics as I wanted but here are some.

looks good man your rear axle seems to have moved closer to the front of the vehicle. what do you think? i'm certainly not a pro. i had a team of experts help me, otherwise i wouldnt have even taken on the job, but perhaps the added lift with stock control arms is shifting that axle forward?

Well I put on the rear trac bar relocation bracket so I believe it shifted the axle .25" but yea with the stock control arms I'm sure it moved a little.

I also think it's the angle of the 2 pics, the after pic is a little bit angled
