OK. so ive upgraded to a teraflexx 2.5 coil lift with shock adapters in my 2015 jku Sahara. im also running 35s. the ride is ok but looking into some smoother DD shocks.

ive heard the RS9000xl are great. im told these are the shocks i need to get RAN-RS999329 Front Shock
RAN-RS999330 Rear Shock

2 questions

1 - will this be the same ride height as it is now with my stock shock and adapters?

2- anyone with this set-up??? how is the ride?

Sorry, I can't confirm the shock lengths but can offer input on ride quality.

I have the TF 1.5" puck leveling kit and wasn't happy with the factory ride (with JKU sport shocks) to begin with especially with the side to side bounce.

Initially tried the RS5000x shocks which were too stiff for my liking (from what I've read more like a 5/6 setting on XL9000s) though they did minimize the side to side. Thankfully, Rancho has a program called safe and sound test where if not happy, you can return your shocks for a refund, which I did.

I decided to try the RS9000xl's. They did the trick. I have them set to 3/3 and the ride is very compliant and smooth though I do experience a little side to side occassionally but much better than before. That's not to state that I won't try the other levels on the shocks. Just knowing that I have the ability to change the ride type is cool. The other plus is when towing, I can stiffen up the rear (as I plan to get a small TT in the near future).

BTW, AOR has excellent pricing on these and with the rebate, makes these an excellent buy.

Last week I put the 9000 XL on my two-door Willys, I also added a 7000 mt steering stabilizer. I have a one and a half inch teraFlex spacer leveling kit on my
Jeep. I used 29 on the front with a 1 inch bump stop and 30 on the rear with a 2 inch bump stop. I have them set five for rear and six on the front and it is really a great driving and riding experience now.

Yes, those are the correct shocks and they do NOT change ride height at all. And those are the shocks to have if you are looking for a soft/plush ride.
