I hate to say it but the adjustability of the 9000 is why I went to the 5000x. Most will find a setting and just leave it forever. Then when you go to adjust, they won't move. I have 9000 on my truck and they lasted forever, but after about 2 years I couldn't adjust them at all. But after 200k miles Rancho replaced them FOC. Now I have to remember about once a month to move all the knobs. On the truck that is not easy they are inside the front coils.
The adjustability is pretty awesome. I can see dialing them up for highway road trips and dialing them back down for around town cushiness.
I found one of my deep 19mm 12point sockets fits the knobs just right and provides just enough hand grip and leverage to operate them smooth. Rancho really needs to redesign these. Even a bolt head plastic knob with plastic T-wrench would be an improvement.
