Rubi Lockers

So I was toying with the new jeep today and I put it in 4L and hit the locker button the dash lights started blinking and never stopped so I hit the disco switch it stopped blinking before the lockers did. So I drove couple feet and nothing so I just put it back in 2WD and continued on with my day waiting for when I would be able to ask y'all. Any tricks that I should know before I try it again?

I assume you were in dirt... Were you going straight? They don't always lock up when turning. Also, you may have to drive a bit for them to lock up.

Next time you are on a straight stretch in the dirt and in 4L, hit the switch again and drive along. As an aside - you can just lock the rear then lock the front or try both at once.

I was on loose gravel but I only rolled forward about 20 feet thanks for advice.

Loose gravel is good. I know many times mine takes more than 20 feet to lock up - especially it seems when they are "cold" (using the first time on a run).

Well I just got it and a doctor had it before me and 39900 miles so probably never used.

Yeah, maybe. Just click it in and run 5-10 mph on a straight stretch of gravel and wait for them to click in. They’ll probably be happy to be used finally!
