Rubicon Express 2.5" Coil Lift

Just had the RE 2.5 lift with monotube shocks installed on my 13 JKU. I am running 33" Nitto Trail Grapplers. I am really impressed with the ride. It rides smooth, no swaying and feels pretty much like the stock ride just higher.

Only negative is when it is installed there is still a 1" rake to the front. I am running a stock bumper with no winch so it is not that. I was under the impression that a coil lift would level my rig but I was mistakin. If I wver get a heavier bumper and winch it would sag even more.

I called RE directly and am having them ship me the front coils to the 3.5" lift which are 1" longer and will level my Jeep. Overall I am very pleased with the ride and will like it more when it is leveled.

B4...

Might just be the pic. The front is 1" shorter than the rear. You can imagine how much more it would be with a heavy bumper and winch. Going to remove the air dam also.

Measured from ground to the bottom of fenders. Its pretty obvious when your standing next to it looking at front and back wheel wells.

It's level from the pics. You didn't get as much height in the front as you would have with front coils from say teraflex but the rear came up nicely and I'd say it's actually more level than most who install the Teraflex 2.5 coils. They usually wind up having a little more height in the front than what you have and the jeep then has to sit on a downward slope or slight angle to show that it's level. Let me show you what I mean. This is my old 2dr jeep with a Teraflex 2.5 coil kit. First is on level ground, then second at a slight downward angle showing its level more.

@NYJets are those the 295/70/17's Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts? Love those tires but I'm wondering how small they'd look on a 2.5" coil lift (TeraFlex, RK Max travel or AEV xt)

Your finished product looks nice and the tires don't seem to small/short to me.

I beg to differ on ride quality being close to stock.

RE has great customer service, however your jeep looks leveled...you measured incorrectly using the fenders height. You will have a positive rake up front if you do the 3.5 coils. Fender heights aren't equal between front and rear. Just the way they are designed
