Rubicon springs on a Sport

I have a 2012 Sport and installed a 2.5" Teraflex coil spacer lift kit. A friend has a 2013 Rubicon. He is going to lift his and discard the coils. Mine are 14/55's. His are 18/59's. Anyone know if his springs would fit. And if so, would it work with the 2.5" spacers, and give it a little more lift?

Yes they will fit and can give you a minor lift since they are stiffer and wont be sagged down

They will fit and give you some lift. But with the extra lift you will be at 3", maybe a little more. Now you have to worry about possible caster issues, your axles not being centered, etc.

They will fit, I am running 17/58's along with a 2" spacer lift. I got a little over 1.5" over my stock 14's up front, with the added weight of my bumper and winch I probably only netted .5"-1" over stock, and gained a little over 1" in the rear. I am running an aftermarket drive shaft and do have some vibration due to my pinion angle so I will be adding adjustable control arms to correct.

Seriously, this is almost identical to the guy with a 2.5" BB who asked about adding the coils just this past week.

An honest to goodness question here . . . not being snarky: How do you know this nomenclature ("14/55s" and "18/59s") and not already know the answer to this question?

Someone at a distribution company said they didn't change the springs, so it wouldn't add any height. The dealer couldn't tell unless all the part numbers were looked up and measured.
